About me

My name is Isabelle Mendez and I am in my final semester at Old Dominion University! I am majoring in psychology and minoring in communication. My end career goal is to work with children in therapy or to become a substance abuse therapist. They are two topics I am really passionate about but I have not decided yet which one I am leaning more towards. I intend on taking a gap year after graduation to work and save up money and then go back to get my masters. I was born and raised in Virginia Beach. However, I did live in Maine for a good chunk of my childhood. I have a cat named Emory, she is a calico. I adopted her in 2020 and she has been my best friend ever since. I love to travel, I went to five different countries before I was 18, two of those being a study abroad. I also love to read, write, cook, and bake.
