The easiest part of getting up my Wix page was adding in the pictures I wanted and the introduction page. I felt this was easiest because while in school, we have learned how to give others a rundown about ourselves pretty easily. The most challenging part of my Wix would have to be my resume. I created one in highschool early on so it did not include half the stuff that should be on a resume. It was also a little difficult adding the pdf to my website. I had to go to ODU’s portfolio help center to get help with that because I knew it would make my website look better but I was not sure how to do it.

I feel like my online presence at this time is good. However, my writing style I would say is more personable and not strictly professional. I sometimes write how I speak to allow the audience to get a better sense of who I am. I would have to work on that moving forward to ensure my whole website is professional. My best experience with a leader would have to be my current boss. She is super understanding with everyone and understands that life happens and some things are out of our control. She also remembers the little things about all her employees and asks about them from time to time. I think that she has found the line between friend and employee and executes it very well in the manner that she is still professional but you can also tell she cares.

One event I went to that was poorly managed was a concert in Seattle Washington. They stated on their website that people were only allowed to wait outside starting at 8 am which led people to wait in their cars up until that point which caused lots of traffic on the busy streets on seattle. They had one public bathroom, which they closed down to clean about four or five times which is nice for cleanliness but also created a line that was about one hundred people long. The line itself to get into the venue once it was time was not defined enough so a lot of people cut the line. They did not manage the concert properly at all. At this stage in the portfolio, I do not have any questions. Everything is pretty straightforward and the changes I made were really minor like connecting the buttons to my social media and then adding this blog post.
