For one of my assignments, I had to schedule an appoint with a mentor to see what they would do to make changes to my website. My mentor was really sweet and helpful with her feedback on my page and we went step by step to see where each page needed help. For starters, my introduction page had a lot of empty space in it. she suggested that we remove the empty space because it makes the viewers believe that there is more to the page then there actually is. The next task was to add a few more pictures in my 'about me tab. This allows the viewers to remember my face and who I am. I chose to add in another picture of myself and then a picture of my cat because I felt it would make me more personable to people and get a glimpse of my life. The last major issue with my website was the readability. I had dark text over a dark background, rookie mistake. That was a quick fix, I chose to change my background because I felt like any other color text would be hard to read on that background, even if I liked it. Overall, I mainly had issues with my spacing and legibility. They were fairly quick fixes and I am grateful that someone was able to look at it and see what I was doing wrong because when you're the one creating something, simple things slip through the cracks.
