The creation and work-life balance

I had previously had a Wix page in one of my other communication classes last semester so I only had to input what was needed for this class. It was really easy to just add the pages but it took a lot of time and patience because some of the pages did not want to go where I wanted them. When I first created the site, I allowed them to create the site format themselves but I put in what I wanted specifically so the setup was not that hard. The Wix website is very user friendly but it does take some time to see all the different tools and how to use them. If you want a basic site, it will not take much time to have that up and running but if you want a lot of different features and add ons then it will take some time to set it all up. The only thing I do not like is that I put the website name as my previous class, it will not allow me to change the name unless I pay for it.

Work-life balance seems to be nonexistent in todays world. People get praised for working long hours and getting a lot of overtime. A lot of companies are short staffed so their employees feel as if they cannot get a day off because of that or because it might be detrimental for the company. There is room for a lot of improvement and I think that for a good work-life balance in the year 2023, employees should be able to get a sufficient amount of paid time off to enjoy their vacation without having to worry about the money. Employees should also have a maximum amount of hours they are allowed to work a week if they are full time because I believe that burnout is a very serious problem and those who work outrageous hours are bound to go through it and make mistakes in their job. For a good work-life balance, employees should not have to feel as if the company could not run without them if they needed to take a day off. Having that much pressure put on you at a job creates an unhealthy relationship where the employee feels guilty for having a life outside the workplace.
